The Friends of the Butler Library was started a few years ago by a group who just wanted to help. In 1997, the Friends became incorporated and agreed to raise the funds necessary to buy land and build and equip a new and larger facility. The Friends have reached this goal! The new library opened in December, 2008.
The Friends of the Butler Libary have a new mission statement! The Friends seek to promote the library programs, resources and services available to the community. Our primary mission is to raise funds to help support and improve the library!

Monthly meetings are held at 6:30-7:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
