StoryWalk® October 22nd – October 31st. Follow the storyboards on the Library and Clarke House Grounds.
StoryWalk® is a wonderful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are attached to stakes, which are installed outside. Following a path, you’re directed to each page in the story. At the end, you have read a whole book!
Butler’s first book is Steam Train, Dream Train. Look for the storyboards in the front yard of the Library beginning Thursday, October 22nd. Follow the numbered storyboards past the Library and around the Clarke House, ending at the Caboose. Please take a moment to scan our QR code so we may track the number of people who have read the story. For those finishing the walk, there will be a chance to win a copy of Steam Train, Dream, Train. Depending on weather, Steam Train, Dream Train will stay up through October 31st.
We have more stories we are working on, we’ll let you know when the next one goes up!
This free event has been sponsored by the Friends of the Butler Library. Thank you!!
