Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Traveling Art Show

The Butler Library is honored to host the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Traveling Art Show starting January 26 through February 16, 2019.

Since their first trip in November 2008, Stars and Stripes Honor Flight has taken thousands of veterans and guardians on a one day trip to Washington D.C. Moving images have been curated onto a chronological journey of an Honor Flight trip.

Approximately 120 images have been collected to share the stories, smiles, tears, and cheers of those who served our country.

Blood Drive

You may wonder how donated blood is used? Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Butler Public Library is hosting a blood drive February 4th from 1-6 pm to aid the local blood bank. All registrations will be taken by the American Red Cross. To choose a donation time please follow this link: www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time. Registration is open now for the Butler Public Library donation site.
Walk-ins are welcome or call 1 (800) REDCROSS (733-2767) for availability.
