Rocking Rhthyms With Rhythm for Unity

Creating rhythm together helps build and celebrate community (and it's fun!)  Hand drumming is an ancient practice now available to groups of all ages and abilities. Join us on July 23rd at 6 pm!

 


Blood Drive

Here's a chance to make a difference! On Friday, August 3rd, 9 am until 1:30 pm, you can donate blood to the American Red Cross. For an appointment, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: Butler Library.

 


American Sewing Guild, the Milwaukee Chapter

Hands on teaching on how to make a pillowcase. Machines and materials provided. Take the finished product home with you! Space and machines are limited to six (6) students age 10 years and up. Hurry and sign up today to reserve your spot! (262) 783-2535

 


LIBRARIES ROCK! Summer Reading Program

ATTENTION Children and Teens! Get your grove on and rock out on reading this summer! The Children's and Teens summer reading program starts on June 11th and ends July 28th. Stop in to pick up your reading logs on or after June 11th. There will be coupons for all children and teens and a drawing for prizes at the end of the program. Crafts and shows will be scheduled throughout the duration of our summer reading program. Visit the Libraries Rock! page for more information!


Butler Recipe Club

Get ready to show off your cooking skills! On Wednesday, August 1st, pack up your favorite Harvest Vegetable dish along with a copy of the recipe and bring it to the Butler Public Library at 5:30 pm for an evening of tasting and sharing recipes. Wednesday Morning Storytime

Join Holly at the Butler Public Library every Wednesday for Storytime! Enjoy interactive adventures starting at 10:30 am!

 


1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your child starts kindergarten. Start today by coming into the library to register and pick up your first log.
